"Mallets of Mayhem"

My neighbor Brian and his club, "Mallets of Mayhem" host this Bike Polo tournament featuring teams from across Canada and US, and compete over the collective July1 and 4th long weekend just off Preston St. and in front of Dirienzo's Grocery on Beech, famous for their great Italian sandwiches. My fav: The Diablo! ...with hot/spicy eggplant, of course.

The real thing for great Italian food - mouth watering smells of espresso, wood oven baked panzeroti and a blend of pasta sauces escape onto Preston Street. Known as Corso Italia – this is the heart of Ottawa’s little Italy.
